Prize includes complete PACS system, diagnostic Web viewer and cloud storage solution
SOUTHFIELD, MICH. — FreedomPACS™ invites all 2013 IRHA (Illinois Rural Health Association) Annual Education Conference attendees to enter its Radiology PACS Giveaway at the Keller Convention Center in Effingham, Ill.
Each year, the IRHA offers networking, education and development opportunities to its members at the conference in order to “improve access to healthcare for rural Illinoisans.” To support the IRHA mission, FreedomPACS, is donating a complete $40,000 radiology PACS imaging system to be given away during the 2013 event, Aug. 22-23. 
FreedomPACS will also show how rural hospitals and facilities can improve patient care with each of its three signature systems included in the prize:
- Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) software – server and Web-based solutions that offer enterprise-wide viewing, storage and instant access to digital medical images.
- FreedomPACS Cloud – a highly secure, cost-effective offsite storage solution
- ImageShare Diagnostic Viewer – a cross-platform viewer that is license-free and incorporates DICOM standards
To sign up for the Radiology PACS Drawing, eligible IRHA members and attendees can register online or stop by the FreedomPACS exhibit at the conference.
- Drawing participants must be at least 18 years of age and legitimate representatives of medical health facilities (under 50 beds) or medical clinics and practices (with less than 20 doctors).
- Each facility is limited to two entries and no donation or purchase is necessary to sign up.
- In addition, the winner is responsible for certain support and installation requirements.
